Mobilizer is a Shopify store adapter that presents an installation banner the first time a visitor views the store on a mobile web browser, allowing them to install the 'app' on their homescreen. When this app is launched, it displays your live store along with some layout tweaks to make for an even more native app experience.

Mobilizer uses a modern development in the app ecosystem called a Progressive Web App. The advantages of a PWA include circumventing the various App Stores since it can be installed directly from your store within the mobile browser. This also means you have no need for a set of developer accounts, some of which have a costly annual renewal fee. It means that you don't need to direct users to the App Store, or spend money fighting for rank in the App Stores. It does away with the need for paying developers to build native apps on multiple platforms.

From your Shopify admin console, visit the Shopify App Store and search for Mobilizer. Once installed, fill out a couple of basic details and provide an icon for the homescreen launch. Our engineers will then review and tweak the mobile app layout without touching your standard store theme. You'll be sent a preview link for approval before the app becomes installable.
